By supporting City Hearts' continued dedication to providing no cost Arts Education and unique Arts experiences to students in Arts-underserved areas of Los Angeles County, you contribute to the growth and development of youth creators and aspiring Artists to provide them with opportunities to express themselves, explore their creativity, and shape their futures. So far this 2023-24 school year, City Hearts' Literary, Visual, and Performing Arts Teaching Artists are teaching 45 Arts classes weekly, serving over 650 students. Partnering with six districts across 15 schools in Los Angeles County, our students are showing tremendous growth in their Artistic and social-emotional skills.
Christopher, a 10th-grade Printmaking student, said, “I’ve never been an “Artist,” and I struggled putting my imagination to good use. [But with City Hearts], I am able to focus on my artwork and feel better about myself.”
Alumna and star of "My Dream Quinceañera" TV series, Honey Robinson says, "City Hearts allows students to have access to Arts programs they normally wouldn't be able to pay for. Although not every City Hearts student has to become a professional Artist, with these programs, they are all given the gift to discover and explore. For me, my years as a City Hearts student were unforgettable and planted the seed of pursuing Acting as a career, which I am now doing."
